I thought I'd mix fruit with something else this time, and a tube of paint it is. I chose blue as it always goes well with violet I think. 'Plum with paint' Oil on board 13x18cm

New packham pear painting. I used a new technique for getting tiny dots on the surface of the pear for this one. I'm really pleased at how it turned out.

First exhibition with paintings

I just finished my first exhibition where I have exhibited my oil pantings. It was over 3 days and was in the lovely setting of an old church in a picturesque English village. The Right Honorable John Bercow, the Speaker of the House of Commons in Parliament was at the opening night.
I also exhibited kiln formed glass bowls which sold well.
